Your Product Details Page, or PDP, plays an essential role in converting users. Because it's often a browsing user's first interaction with your app, you want your PDP to be compelling enough to draw them in and choose your app.
Here are some tips to grab attention and drive conversion with your PDP:
Descriptions
You'll write two descriptions for your PDP: a long description and a short description. Both should convey an accurate overview of your experience - from content to tone.
To meet Meta's requirements, your descriptions must comply with Meta's Content Guidelines.
To write the most persuasive descriptions:
Keep the narrative consistent, but don't just copy and paste. Your long description should provide a complete overview of your app, while your short description should give browsing users the "highlights" from your long description: the best features, gameplay, and interactivity of your app.
Include keywords to enhance searchability. When you write your descriptions, use the search keywords you've selected for your app to make it easier for users to find.
Keep the tone of your app consistent with your app's experience. Make sure the language in your descriptions mirrors the experience of your app to accurately set user expectations.
Avoid walls of text in your long description. Use bulleted lists, images, or gifs to break up text and keep users engaged.

Note: All games depicted in this resource are fictional and created specifically for the purposes of this guide. These examples do not represent real apps available for purchase on the Meta Horizon platform.
Feeling stuck? Use Llama AI to get started writing descriptions. Always review and edit the text before you use it.
Screenshots
Using images in your PDP is a great way to give browsing users a preview of your experience. But, these assets must meet certain requirements before you can publish your app on the Store.
To pass Meta's reviews, you must submit five screenshots that are unique and unedited. If you submit duplicate or embellished images, you will not pass Meta's review.
To drive conversion with your screenshots:
Capture the best elements of your app. Use five scenes from your app that show off different features and functionality.
Show the interactivity of your experience. Include which play modes and interactions your app features so browsers know what to expect.
Arrange the most compelling screenshots first on your PDP. This grabs a browser's attention quickly and helps your app stand out on the Store.

Before you submit, use this resource to help determine if your screenshots meet Meta's requirement.
Trailers
While trailers are an optional part of your PDP, they are one of the most powerful ways to drive conversion.
To meet Meta's requirements, keep your trailer between thirty seconds and two minutes. For the best results, shoot for a minute or less.
To create the most engaging trailer:
Make sure your trailer has a strong opening. The first 10 seconds of a trailer decide if you'll keep a browsing user's attention, so show off your most exciting features and gameplay from the start.
Use animation, visual effects, and sound effects to show what the app will feel like. For inspiration, look at the trailers of similar, well-performing apps.
Update your trailer for each stage of your app, including if it's “coming soon,” available for pre-order, or ready for purchase.
