Meta requires that you enforce community standards that, at minimum, meet the standards of the Code of Conduct for Virtual Experiences (CCVE). But, every community is different. Some may be comfortable with a more casual or mature environment that others, with different community norms, would flag as abusive.

It can be challenging to understand those nuances and translate them into effective community rules. Click each button below to review two examples of how reported behaviors within specific communities may be reviewed and actioned.

Getting Community Feedback

When responding to user reports, it's important to examine the impact of your actions. Make sure that you are listening to and supporting your community, and identifying opportunities to improve your rules and resolution process.

Meta recommends you look for ways to regularly engage with your community to solicit this feedback so you can iterate and improve your experience, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for your users.
