If your app is found to be in violation of Meta's policies, Meta will send a notice of the violation via email to your app's admins. You can review and manage the resolution process from the Requirements tab in your Developer Dashboard. To resolve a violation, you will need to respond and confirm that your app complies with Meta's policies, terms, and guidelines.
Keep in mind that once a violation is identified, you must resolve it regardless of your future plans for the app. The resolution process will guide you through what is required to mitigate the violation.
The Compliance Dashboard is now called Tasks.
Step 1: Review the Violation
If you receive a warning notice, follow these steps to review the violation:
- Navigate to the Developer Dashboard
- Select “Tasks” under the Requirements tab
- Locate the violation
- Click the “Resolve” button
- Review the details of the violation and any necessary next steps
To help you better understand the violation, review the Platform Terms and/or relevant section of the Developer Data Use Policy as indicated in the violation details.
